Provide vision and leadership for PSSHE department and staff to ensure the holistic development of students through Physical, Social, Spiritual and Health education using a comprehensive curriculum led by research, student need and mission of the school. This role requires partnership with Principals and multiple stakeholders to achieve the objectives and maximize the educational benefit for each child.




Duties & Responsibilities:





  • Supervise the Secondary School PSSHE teachers.



  • Provide ongoing feedback to PSSHE teachers.

  • Support the development of PSSHE teachers' pedagogy and professional development.

  • Support the development of Wellness counsellors.

  • Support counselors in sharing their burdens and in maintaining Biblical perspectives on situations that arise 



  • Evaluate the current effectiveness of holistic development efforts.

  • Facilitate the creation of all-school, developmentally appropriate and differentiated strategies for student development. (eg: Staff leading Bible studies, creating VTG program)

  • Review and create proposals for Bible/PSSHE curriculum scope and sequence that support students' spiritual and holistic development from KG1-Grade 12 at age appropriate for students.

  • Facilitate the implementation of weekly chapel programs across the school that foster spiritual growth.

  • Facilitate/lead the annual ‘Spiritual Emphasis week’ for both ES and SS

  • Collaborate with the ES principal, SS Principal and Director of Teaching & Learning for cohesive and coherent functions across the educational leadership team. (Deliberate on theological underpinnings of eg. Behavior management, Biblical counselling, classroom management)

  • Lead regular prayer meetings with PSSHE teachers

  • Facilitate short term teams

  • Research Christian perspectives on various trendy topics and discuss with PSSHE teachers

  • Support the implementation of BA Student Fruits across academic and non-academic areas.

  • Perform other duties as required
