Nib Insurance Company invites fresh graduate applicants for the following positions.
Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and a Paid-Up Capital of Birr 14.0 million in May 02, 2002 with 4 branches in Addis Ababa and a total staff size of not more than 50. Currently, the paid up capital has reached to Birr 250 million and the number of shareholders increased to 1,014. NIC provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services to its clients.
The Company undertakes its operations through its Head Office, 42 branches and 1 Contact Office (For the General Insurance) and 1 Life Assurance branch. Twenty-Seven of the branches are located in Addis Ababa. Currently, the number of employees working for NIC has reached to 416.
Position 1: Secretary Cashier
Requirement:
- Diploma or Level IV with Certificate of Competency (COC) in
- Secretarial Science and Office Management or
- Administering Office and Secretarial Technology or
- Accounts and Budget Service or
- Secretarial Science or
- Customer Contact & Secretarial Operations or
- Secretarial Technology
Work Experience (Minimum)

Position 2: Customer Compliant Handling Officer II
Job Requirement
- BA Degree in Banking and Insurance or Business Management or Marketing or Economics or in related fields
Work Experience (Minimum): 2 Years relevant experience
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Contact Office Head
Requirement: BA/B.Sc Degree in Banking & Insurance or Management or Accounting & Finance or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or in related fields
Work Experience (Minimum): 4 years relevant experience, of which 2 years as Underwriting Officer II or Claims Officer II or in a similar position
Duty Station (Work Unit): Addis Ababa
Position 4: Senior Life & Health Insurance Underwriting/ Claims Officer
Requirement: BA/BSC Degree in Banking & Insurance or Management or Accounting & Finance or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or in related fields
Work Experience (Minimum): 4 years relevant experience, of which 2 years as Underwriting Officer II or Claims Officer II or in a similar position
Duty Station (Work Unit): Addis Ababa
Position 5: Executive Secretary (Administrative Assistant)
Requirement: BAย Degree in Administrative Science or in related fields or Diploma in Secretarial Technology, Secretarial Science and Office Management or Administrating Office and Secretarial Technology or, Accounts and Budget Service or Secretarial Science or Customer Contact & Secretarial Operations or Secretarial Technology.
Work Experience (Minimum): None for BA Degree holders and four years relevant experience for Diploma holders, of which two years as Secretary II
