Job Description:


Number of employees required: Three


Work location: Bora, Selewa and Neqsege Woerdas


Major Responsibility 

  • Joint TSFP distribution planning and community mobilization at facilities and community level  
  • TSFP Commodity planning and dispatching to FDPs and HPs as per the distribution plan
  • Proper Documentation, recording and reporting of TSFP distribution documents
  • Community mobilization and active case finding, detection and screening activities

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • BSc degree in Public Health/ Clinical Nursing/Nutrition and related health field of study preferred from accredited universities or health colleges

Required Professional Experience

  • Minimum two years working experience with NGOs in CMAM program Focusing on TSFP and BSFP programs;

Certificates on:

  • Acute malnutrition 2019 revised guideline training
  • Revised 2019 IMAM guideline, and IYCF-E training 
  • Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS)
  • Trained on Family MUAC approach and TSFP/MAM

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Knowledge, training and experience in management of MAM and SAM with/without medical complication
  • Demonstrated skills in CMAM program planning, implementation and monitoring. Experience in cascading family MUAC approach. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good human relation skills.
  • Willingness to work under pressure
  • Prepared to live and work in a remote and uncertain security environment

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement

  • Willingness to work in SC, OTP & TSFP centers

Language Requirements

  •  English and knowledge of local language is advantageous.
