Role purpose:

The CVM Analytics Manager is responsible for driving data-led decision-making across the customer lifecycle through advanced analytics, insights, and reporting. This role plays a critical part in understanding customer behavior, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting commercial teams with strategic, data-driven recommendations. The manager will lead a team of analysts and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that improve customer acquisition, retention, and value.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

 

  • Lead customer analytics initiatives to inform business strategies across pricing, CVM, product, and marketing.
  • Design and implement customer segmentation models to drive personalization and value-based engagement.
  • Analyze customer behavior trends to support lifecycle strategies (onboarding, base growth, retention, churn).
  • Develop predictive models (e.g., churn, upsell, cross-sell) to guide CVM interventions and commercial campaigns.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant reports and dashboards to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive insights from customer data that support strategic initiatives and campaign optimization.
  • Collaborate with CVM, marketing, digital, finance, and product teams to embed data insights into planning and execution.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices are followed across all analytics activities.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

 

·       Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or any other relevant field with a strong focus on data analysis and computing.

·       Proficiency in SQL and database querying within Oracle and other relational database environments.

·       Strong spreadsheet modeling and data visualization skills (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

·       Strong experience in data storytelling – ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

·       Advanced skills in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data automation techniques.

·     Strong programming skills in analytics and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R).

·       Expertise in analytical techniques, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing.

·       High interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
