Role purpose:
· To ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational activities in the region and provide IT Support to the regional offices covering various business units (SnD, EA, Security).
· To provide oversight, governance and technical leadership to the Regional Field Operations Team and Field Services Provider to achieve optimal performance and improve customer experience.
· To drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying areas for improvement. This may involve analysing data, identifying trends, and proposing strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
· To collaborate and support Radio Network Planning and Operations (RNPO), Transmission Planning and Operations (TPO), Capex PMO and Sales and Distribution (SnD) on execution of various network coverage and capacity plans in the region.
Leadership, People and Fit for Purpose Operating Model
· Define and manage key operational goals (impactful goals) for the team, ensure that they are aligned to the Company strategic goals/Must-Win-Battle (MWBs).
· Lead, guide and coach a diverse Regional Field Operations and IT Support team to perform efficient operations and maintenance of the network in the regions to achieve a set of operational KPIs.
· Conduct performance reviews of the Regional Field Operations and IT Support, where required implement individual improvement plans to improve performance.
· Develop capability development plans and succession plans for the team.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Or Computer Engineering, Or Computer Science.
· 10 years’ experience with 5 years specialised role in a telecommunications environment –with expertise in Radio Access Network, or Transmission/ IP Network or Power.
· 2 Years as management or supervisory role in the telecommunication industry.
· Strong experience in Operations and Maintenance environment.
· Knowledge of Radio Access Network, Transmission and Power.
· Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA)
· Business and Executive Reporting and Presentation skills.
· Negotiation and Communication skills
· Budgeting Management skills
· Project Management and Coordination skills.
Financial Responsibility:
· Responsible for Planning, Control and Management of Network Operations and Maintenance-related Expenditures.
