Role purpose: We are seeking a talented Multimedia Designer to join our team and take charge of creating visually stunning and engaging graphic design, audio and video editing content. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing multimedia assets for a variety of purposes, including marketing campaigns, social media content, presentations, and more
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Design Creation: Developing multimedia content such as graphics, animations, videos, and interactive presentations
Conceptualization: Translating client briefs or project requirements into creative concepts and visual designs.
Content Curation: Selecting appropriate media elements like images, audio, and video clips to enhance the multimedia projects.
Developing Content: Developing contents for internal communications, social media, press release etc...
Software Proficiency: Mastery of multimedia design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
Brand Alignment: Ensuring multimedia materials align with brand guidelines and messaging.
Collaboration: Working closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback.
Quality Assurance: Reviewing and testing multimedia projects to ensure they meet quality standards and are error-free.
Project Management: Managing timelines, resources, and priorities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other similar
tools are crucial. This includes understanding principles of layout, typography, and color theory.
• Video Production: Skills in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for
editing and post-production tasks.
• Audio Editing: Basic understanding of audio editing software such as Adobe Audition or Audacity for sound design and editing.
Creativity and Innovation
• Creativity: A strong creative flair is necessary for generating innovative ideas and solutions across various
multimedia platforms.
Business Know how
• Knowledge of the creative ask from telecom companies is important.
Working with Change
• The digital landscape is constantly evolving, so being adaptable and willing to learn new tools and techniques is crucial for staying relevant in this field.
Project and Program Management
• Ability to manage projects efficiently, including time management, budgeting, and coordinating with team members or clients.
Functional Competencies:
Research and Innovation: Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in multimedia design.
Decision Ownership: Making creative decisions related to design elements, visual aesthetics, and multimedia content, while considering client preferences and project goals.
Graphic Design: Proficiency in creating visual elements such as logos, illustrations, and layouts using design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
Video Production: Skills in shooting, editing, and post-production of videos, including knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Audio Editing: Competence in recording and editing audio, including mixing and mastering, using software like Adobe Audition, Audacity, or Pro Tools.
Storyboarding: Ability to create storyboards and conceptualize ideas visually, helping to plan and organize multimedia projects effectively.
Typography: Knowledge of typography principles and the ability to select and apply appropriate fonts to enhance the visual appeal and readability of multimedia projects.
Color Theory: Understanding of color theory and the ability to use color effectively to convey messages and evoke emotions in multimedia designs.
Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, including setting timelines, coordinating with team members, and delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• B.A degree in Fine Arts, Communication, and related fields
• Certificate in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field
• Four years of proven experience in graphic design, audio editing, and video editing, preferably in a professional setting.


Desired
• Experience with motion graphics, 3D animation, and interactive media is a plus.
• Experience working for creative agencies is a plus.
