Our Music program is a vital aspect of this goal. We are looking for teachers who can inspire our children to explore and develop their creativity through Music.
At Bingham Academy, our Music classes are taught by experienced teachers and are designed to develop vocal, instrumental and theory skills. You will have the opportunity to make an impact in an environment where students and parents value your contribution and ministry more than you will ever know.
We are currently looking for Music Teachers for both our Elementary and Secondary schools.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Music or extensive experience in the field of music
- Teaching License, Qualification or Credential
- Vocal music experience
- Music technology understanding
- Instrumental experience (desired, but negotiable)
- Experience teaching composition (desired, but negotiable)

- Demonstrate understanding of recent educational trends and best practices, including relevant curriculum and learning and assessment theory
- Experience designing personalized and differentiated learning experiences for students
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Commitment to positive communication with all stakeholders
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to contribute to a positive school environment for students, staff and the overall community
- Passion for excellent education
- Willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses assigned by the secondary principal
- Carry out all assigned duties with professionalism
- Teach and serve in a broad range of responsibilities as requested by administration
- Communicate timely and professionally with parents as needed, discussing student performance and writing annual reports
- Maintain personal teaching certifications
- Participate in ongoing professional development
