SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Job Profile Summary

As a Painter you are responsible to Create samples and attend to application requests of paint system as requested by sales/marketing and support sales and customers for training on application techniques and dealers' shop decoration.
This position is based in Addis Ababa and reports to Assistant Project Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing panels of different products according to Jotun paint system based on sales and marketing request.

  • Responsible for preparing the project submittal which includes panels with full paint system, TDS (Technical Data Sheet), MSDS(Material Safety Data Sheet) and application of method statement of the product etc.

  • Responsible for preparing, application and shipment of painted panels to customer according to the standards.

  • Responsible for adequate stock of paint samples, application tools and consumable items in co-ordination with technical sales executive by following the 5S system in workshop

  • Visit site to exhibit special paint techniques and assist Technical Service Team for site training, workshop training of painters.

  • Assist sales and marketing department during special campaign, product launch, design and painting of new multi colour shops etc.

  • Support to dealer shop by preparing latest design and special effect of product sample for customer display.

  • Adhere to the HSE (Health Safety Environment) regulation and Jotun standard by using the PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the different activities in order to ensure a safe working environment

Qualification and Experience

· High School or TVT graduate

· 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in Painting
