Job Description:

JOB Profile:

  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods in time.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Overseeing inventories and the supply of Raw Materials.
  • Preparing MIS
  • Delegate tasks and monitor the procurement activities of assigned Raw / Packaging Materials
  • Must be aware of hedging options
  • Thorough knowledge material being procured.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
  • Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
  • Institute policies and procedures that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity

Requirements:

  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Graduate & MBA in supply chain management or Materials Management.
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience managing supply chain operations, and minimum 5 years in similar capacity is must.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Good financial understanding.
  • Experience using SAP
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Proficient in English language spoken & Written
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
